Monika Arcadi, who runs for the University of Victoria Vikes, took on the 800m B section at the 2025 Victoria Track Classic at Centennial Stadium. She won to close out her season.
She was caught up at the 400m split, and when the pacer rolled off, she decided to take matters into her own hands and led for the final 400m, for the win.
