Devon Meadows finished second in the 2019 Canadian Cross Country Championships to Victoria’s Tion McLeish in the U16 category.
He runs for the nearby Coquitlam Cheetahs.
The two finished in a virtual tie, but McLeish was credited with the win. He held on after having taken out a big lead.
