Jessica Smith won the 1500m race at the 2019 Pacific Distance Carnival.
She is an 800m runner and was just the fourth Canadian all-time to run faster than the two-minute benchmark. She went on to compete in the 2012 Olympics.
Here, she talks about finally being healthy and feeling fit. She is not putting pressure or expectations on herself, just going to see what comes of it. She will be racing the Harry Jerome Track Classic 800m.
