Shari Boyle finished as first master (despite her saying second during the interview).
The Calgary resident is a 3,000-metre steeplechase athlete.
She will be racing in the Occidental Track Meet taking place at Occidental College in Los Angeles in two weeks. She also raced the Vancouver Sun Run on Sunday, April 14.
She talks about going out fast and hitting a bit of a headwind along the oceanside portion on Dallas Rd.
She was happy with her effort but was looking for a slightly faster time.
She ran in the sun, while it was snowing in Calgary.
