Trevor Hofbauer flew to Vancouver from Calgary with the intention of “winning the damned race”. He nearly did, finishing second and credited with the same time with Justin Kent, who won in 29:30.
Hofbauer has a busy season in front of him including racing the Hamburg Marathon in two weeks as well as the national 10K road championships and the Scotiabank Half Marathon.
