Nick Colyn and Caleb De Jong of Trinity Western University went 1-2 during the 2018 Vikes Invitational Cross Country meet at Beacon Hill Park in Victoria, BC. Then the UBC Thunderbirds went 3-4, followed by four consecutive UVic Vikes.
This was the second annual meet. The 2017 edition was rainy and the 2018 edition was sunny and warm with temperatures at near 20 degrees (68-70F).
This is the finish video for most of the high school boys who raced the three-lap, 6K event at the 2018 Vikes Invitational. Oak Bay High School of Victoria and Central Catholic of Portland, OR had an epic battle and Victoria’s Mount Doug Senior Secondary finished well results went:
